Definitely a few surprises. I fully expected “This Is Me” to win Original Song, I thought there was no other competition there. No surprises in any of the acting categories nor Director. With the exception of McDormand I think the other actors have cleaned up this season so their wins were to be expected. It does get a little easier to predict the winners at this stage of awards season as you do get a pretty good idea of what the panels vote for by this stage.
