It’s a very disappointing end to an otherwise decent series. It would have been better as a trilogy because the last two really weren’t great.
When you have a story-line as basic as this trilogy you really need everything else to be amazing, in this case nothing really stands out.
The Tattooist of Auschwitz
It was good for what it was, but it wasn’t great. There was so much more that could have been done but I don’t see they hype.
I’m still on the fence about this one. Yes it was quite dark and gritty and if that’s your thing you’d probably love it, but it wasn’t that memorable.
It wasn’t bad, just the execution wasn’t great. Ultimately, I’ve read a lot of JLA this past year and this one just didn’t match up to the rest.
It’s very atmospheric and intriguing, but ultimately really rather confusing. There’s just so many meh parts to the book.
The Stranger Inside
Really promising with a good story, but it didn’t always focus on the most interesting parts of the story and it let it down.
I’m still so conflicted! There were little things that I liked with so much promise, but there were so many other things that I despised!
