Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves #4

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I appear to be doing one of these every two months without realising. Which I actually quite like. I know this is supposedly a weekly thing, but as I’m being very careful with my buying I don’t add books to my shelves every week. So, I think a couple of months is a good amount of time between shelf stacking and gives me time to actually procure some books…

My last Stacking the Shelves post was just after YALC so these are the books I have gained since then and there are all actually books that have been sent to me. I haven’t bought any of these!

Two of these books I did actually get at YALC, but I realised that I didn’t include them in the aforementioned Stacking post so I’m putting them here instead. Those two being proofs of Reverie and The Loop. I had to double check The Loop when it came to adding the cover to this post because the proof I have looks completely different from the final cover. The Beautiful is the only of these I have read so far and was given to me by Kayleigh. You can read my review for it here.

I have been receiving many emails from authors and publishers lately with review requests. Which would be great if my requests weren’t closed and even better if people would read my review policy and realise this before emailing me! In-spite of this, I have let a few past. I was recently added to the blogger list (my first blogger list!) for Gollancz and Angel Mage is the first book I have received from them ready for the blog tour. My review will be posted October 25th. The Stranger Inside is also in preparation for a blog tour and was sent by Harper Collins. My review will be coming October 5th. Finally, I accepted Entanglement a couple of days ago from Cameron Publicity and Marketing.
