This weeks prompt is: Characters Who Deserve Another/Their Own Book…

Holland (Shades of Magic) — I’d love to know more about Holland. I think his character could be explored so much more if he got his own prequel

Abby Cameron (Gallagher Girls) — I was obsessed with this series when it came out and I loved Abby! I wish Ally Carter who do a more adult-style book about her and we get see the real nitty gritty spy stuff.

Cristina (The Dark Artifices) — I’m open to anything about Cristina! Prequel in the New Mexico Institute, sequel with her Mark and Kieran. I am up for anything.

Kai (Frostblood Saga) — I love him! I need more! There’s definitely something Elly Blake could do to give him his own, there’s a lot of material there Elly give me what I want!

Mor (A Court of Thorns and Roses Trilogy) — I’d say Cassian and Nesta but they’re already getting their own so I’m hoping Mor will be next.

Shazad (Rebel of the Sands Trilogy) — Even though Alwyn did a good, in-depth epilogue I would still read more about Shazad.

  1. Emma, I agree with you on so many characters here. I adore Cristina, but I also felt a tug of affection towards Diana in the same book series. I wish Cassandra Clare would either co-write with or have someone who identifies the same as Diana take over stories about her.
As for Holland, he is near and dear to my heart. I wish we could have stories about him and the scary king and queen he worked for. That inner struggle would have been epic as a reading experience. Plus, I want to know more about his perceptions of Kel and Rhy.
Mor is glorious. I liked that tiny bit of representation in the last book in the original ACOTAR trilogy. Cas and Nesta are a total surprise for me because I spent the first novel struggling with Nesta’s character. She grew on me. I hope we get to see more of Azriel. He is fascinating as well. I was banking on him being with Elain but that’s not the vibe I got from the last book either. Who knows what Sarah J. Maas will do in later books! Can’t wait for her future books.
