Camden (Three Dark Crowns)
Camden is one of the only things I like about this book. I’d love to have a familiar as strong as Camden like Jules does.
A Curse So Dark and Lonely
Everything about this book was unexpected to me and that twist at the end! Woo I did not see that coming!
The Language of Thorns – Leigh Bardugo
I love Leigh’s writing in all of her books, but there just something about The Language of Thorns and its writing that is just so mesmerising and haunting.
Furyborn – Claire Legrand
Rielle and Eliana live 1,000 years apart and although it’s mainly those two time periods when they are both young women it does give other times in their lives.
Front Lines Trilogy – Michael Grant
Rio, Rainy and Frangie are all from different US states in different sections of the army but all meet each other on multiple occasions between training and the front lines.
So short, but so sweet. It gives you just enough information without dragging on too long or using fillers.
Chaol Westfall (Throne of Glass series)
I started of not minding Choal in the first book. Then I wasn’t really a fan in the second. Then we slowly built back up from the third to Tower of Dawn which I really liked him in.
A Torch Against the Night – Sabaa Tahir
I have no idea what to think about this series. It’s OK, but I’m not rushing for the next one, but I’m sort of intrigued and want more.
Isles of Storm and Sorrow: Viper – Bex Hogan
I just think this cover is stunning. There are some gorgeous covers out there right now but this one really catches me.
Queen of Air and Darkness – Cassandra Clare
900 pages. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that long before and with how much QoAaD dragged out I’m not looking forward to the next one that long.
Throne of Glass series
There are so many characters in this series by this point I have no idea who is where and doing what.
King of Scars – Leigh Bardugo
That ending! I need book two! I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do until next year.Just reread them all I guess.
Fireblood – Elly Blake
Even though the Frostblood trilogy might have a sightly predictable plot there were so many things, especially in Fireblood that took me by surprise. Just when I thought I could predict it Blake threw a spanner into the works.
Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo
It’s the book that got me back into reading. This and the Shadow and Bone trilogy so I’m insanely protective of both.
